            MILTON J. CHERAMIE

New Orleans artist Milton J. Cheramie is a        self-taught artist who uses a variety of mediums and artistic styles to tell the story of what he sees and perceives.  Whether it is paper or canvas, fingers or brushes, and Impressionism, Abstract, or a combination of  both, Cheramie loves to capture the movement and the feeling he envisions in that moment.

A native of Bayou Lafourche and Golden Meadow, Louisiana, the artist feels a closeness to the marshes, vegetation, bayous and beaches that have permeated his life and art.  He sees individual life forms as he gazes at a grand landscape.  Whether it is Impressionism or abstract, Cheramie blends all of the colors, shapes and movements into one enchanting,every-changing image.

Milton J. Cheramie invites you to view his artwork at Ariodante Gallery on Julia Street and also on his Facebook page,
