TERI BRASHER
Teri Brasher gets her inspiration from the landscapes of the South. She is originally from New Iberia, Louisiana and has lived in Mandeville, LA for the past 30 years. She loves to interpret nature from a variety of places that she holds dear to her heart. With the use of vivid colors, she magically transforms the environment she perceives into a very organic and loosely woven style. She works mostly in acrylics but can sometimes use tissue papers to add textures and transparency to her works. She holds a B.F.A. from U.L.L. and a M.ED. from UNO. She was an Artist-in-Residence for the State of Louisiana and is currently a Teacher in St. Tammany Parish.
