Sharing the name of
Handel's three act opera since its doors opened in October of 1990,
Ariodante has become a welcome addition to the New Orleans Arts District.
After featuring a wide array of unique Crafts for a decade, the gallery
then spread its wings with the addition of fine arts in 2001. Today, we
currently exhibit a variety of glass, jewelry, furniture, ceramics,
mosaics, photography and paintings from predominantly local and
Gulf-coast artists. Ariodante continues to reach out to the art
community exhibiting veteran and emerging artists.
Louisiana Products Grocery and Deli, Located at 618 Julia St. is open Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4 PM. This Old General Store offers an eclectic atmosphere with delicious breakfasts, daily hot lunch specials, mini muffalettas, salads, sandwiches, coffee and cold drinks. Ariodante welcomes visitors and cruise passengers arriving at the New Orleans Riverfront through the Port of New Orleans. Centrally located within the New Orleans Arts District, Ariodante Contemporary Craft Gallery is just a short five block walk from the Riverwalk.
Ariodante congratulates one of its favorite designers, John M. Stephens as he is featured in Our Louisiana Magazine for his downtown New Orleans condo and the design he has put into the space over the years.
