Sharing the name of Handel's three act opera since its doors opened in October of 1990, Ariodante has become a welcome addition to the New Orleans Arts District. After featuring a wide array of unique Crafts for a decade, the gallery then spread its wings with the addition of fine arts in 2001. Today, we currently exhibit a variety of glass, jewelry, furniture, ceramics, mosaics, photography and paintings from predominantly local and Gulf-coast artists. Ariodante continues to reach out to the art community exhibiting veteran and emerging artists.

Ariodante Contemporary Craft Gallery presents monthly exhibitions of new work by artists and craft makers with opening receptions during monthly art walks from 6 pm to 9 pm on the first Saturday of every month
in the New Orleans Arts District. Our current hours are Mondays + Thursday - Saturday 10AM - 5PM or by appointment.

Art With A HeartAriodante collaborates with non-profit organizations and charitable causes to produce its monthly Art With A Heart event at our opening receptions on the first Saturday of each month. Charitable causes art typically given an opportunity to present themselves to our audience and collect donations as well as network or publicize their cause. Recent causes have included the Malongo Orphanage, ACLU, Forum For Equality, and Krewe of Dead Pelicans.

Non-Profit Auction ProvisionsAriodante works with non-profit organizations to provide packages of auction items at wholesale cost, including art, jewelry, crafts, glass and furniture for their silent and online auctions. These packages add value, prestige and excitement to our clients' events and allow them to earn extra money with little additional effort.

Business Sponsorships
Businesses may sponsor Ariodante's opening receptions by paying for some or all of the costs of the events. In exchange, sponsors will be recognized on our website, Evite and Facebook invitations with text and a banner ad. Sponsors will also be allowed the opportunity to network with our audience of attendees at the opening reception during the monthly art walk in the New Orleans Arts District.

Corporate and Private Art Loan, Rental and Layaway Programs
Ariodante provides permanent collections, changing exhibitions or single
pieces of artwork to businesses and individual collectors for their
public or private space. Works of art may be paid for on a monthly
rental or rent-to-own basis. Ariodante is pleased to provide delivery
and installation for our clients and can even organize an opening
reception for changing exhibitions or newly acquired collections with
the artists when possible. We offer flexible payment and layaway plans
to suit our clients individual needs.
